Extension of a Tool Supporting Interactive Application Development
Rozsypálek, Michal ; Křivka, Zbyněk (referee) ; Zendulka, Jaroslav (advisor)
The aim of the project is development of the tool Process Inspector for business process modeling and collecting informations from stakeholders. For new solution was estimated supporting other technologies. Microsoft MsSQL database server and .Net Framework offer great oportunities to do that. On the other hand there are user graphic interface requirements. Develop tool with intuitive interface and friendly face. Communication with other tools is important feature, we will discuss Business Process Visual Architect communication.
Modeling of production order
Machovec, Marek ; Opálka, Pavel (referee) ; Juřica, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the modeling of the order process by the company, which defines the origin of production orders and their subsequent capacity balancing in the production company TOS ZNOJMO, akciová společnost, using the software Enterprise architect. The thesis consist of the history and organizational structure of the company and process modeling. Subsequently, the analysis of the process is performed and in the end the evaluation of the suitability of the process with the proposal of possible changes for its improvement.
Implementation of process analysis of BORM OR diagrams
Maxa, Oskar ; Zavoral, Filip (advisor) ; Pergl, Robert (referee)
This thesis concerns itself with modeling, analysis and simulation of business processes using the BORM method. In its theoretical part, we develop a formal model for the current implementation of the OR diagram used by the method, and describe its transformation into the prefix machine, a simplified formalism presented in preceding research on which this thesis builds. Upon this foundation, a new simulation algorithm is developed which addresses and fixes several important shortcomings of previous implementations. The algorithm is implemented as part of a web portal for the management of process diagrams, and its functionality and performance are subsequently verified. This thesis' theoretical results further open the door to future realization of validation algorithms which can be utilized in practice during both modeling and simulation of processes. Process model of the organization
Hrabětová, Marie ; Řepa, Václav (advisor) ; Svatoš, Oleg (referee)
This thesis is dealing with the topic of process modeling. The first part of the thesis demar-cates the term process and its elements and presents different points of view on modeling reality. For the process and object dimension of modeling reality some basic models and notations for their creation (BPMN, Eriksson-Penker, UML) are shown in the thesis. It is followed by an introduction to methodology of modeling and analysis of business pro-cesses MMABP and the procedure of designing process system which emerged from MMABP. First four steps of this procedure are used to create preliminary process analysis of chosen enterprise with the intention to reveal areas of processes offering space for im-provement.

Optimization of selected business processes
Tupý, Marek ; Doucek, Petr (advisor) ; Svatá, Vlasta (referee)
The subject of my thesis is the optimization of selected business processes in the specific company. These are processes, which optimization will lead to save time, money and will generate additional income and increase the current level of profit significantly. In my thesis, I proposed several indicators of metrics and describe new information systems that will be part of optimized processes. In the first part I present the theoretical aspects and the transition from functional to process management, modeling based on different methodologies, standards and measuring the performance of individual processes. In the next chapter I am dealing with the practical application of theoretical knowledge on a specific company. First I briefly introduce this company, define its position in the market, and going through complex of strategic analysis. Next I give solution how to find out the problematic aspects of the most critical processes and then I suggest optimization. An important part of this thesis are suggested metrics and indicators for these metrics, which are monitored and evaluate targets of each individual process and thus his successful implementation. After incorporating the proposed optimization, the company has significantly shifted not only in monitored metrics, but will also increase its value. These ideas I will summarize in the end of the work.
Optimalization of business processes in LIMAL (CZ) s.r.o.
Novák, Michal ; Kunstová, Renáta (advisor) ; Fortinová, Jana (referee)
This thesis is focused on optimizing business processes in an environment of LIMAL (CZ). The aim of my work is to analyze and present the company processes and design new processes, which will be used to make the necessary adjustments in the information system and in the working practices of individual employees. The work is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part describes the issue of business processes and their classification. Furthermore, usual methods which can be used to optimize business processes. The practical part is focused on optimizing the most important processes in LIMAL (CZ) s.r.o. First part clarify the company's activities and its specifics. To better understand the environment in which business operates, I present an Porter's analysis of competitive environment. The following part is an overview of each company's internal processes, and description of their current status and deficiencies, and proposed a new procedure, including the benefits that the deployment will bring. The work will serve as a reference for implementation of necessary changes in the information system and working practices of employees.
Comparison of two software products for business process modeling on platform MacOs
Zinchenko, Yulia ; Bruckner, Tomáš (advisor) ; Svatoš, Oleg (referee)
Bachelor thesis is devoted to modeling business processes using appropriate software tools supported by operating system MacOS. The aim was to compare the two applications for process modeling, one of which should be Open Source software. The theoretical part deals with definitions and methodology related to process modeling, including both international and Czech researches focused on the purposes of business process modeling and management, as well as description of the elements of Business Process Modeling Notation, which is necessary to modeling business processes properly. Within the practical part there was made a comparison of the yED and Business Process Visual Architect software. Their strengths and weaknesses were revealed; their functionality, user interface and methods of acquisition were described. Hypotheses were evaluated based on this comparison at the end of the thesis, aiming at identifying potential users of both products.
